Optimizations and Improvements

We improved the display and overall user experience of Elastic Search on mobile devices, especially iPhones, to make it smoother and more consistent. Minor enhancements were made to the skin settings, allowing more flexibility when customizing button displays. A few general bugs were also cleaned up in this update.

Bug fixes

This deploy includes several fixes and refinements across the system. We resolved issues with importing specifications, fixed display problems related to stock from supplied variant products, and corrected errors in Elasticsearch results. Additionally, bugs affecting supplier imports via API and various issues within TheONe were addressed.

New Features

• User Credit Terms: You can now display user credit terms in the interface—if this information is provided via API from your ERP system. A helpful addition for B2B scenarios where credit terms matter.
• Improved “Search by Code” functionality: The search has been upgraded to check across all item code fields simultaneously, making it easier and faster to find the right product by any associated code.
• Expanded variants view with a new layout: Products now have an updated layout that displays all variants in a more visual, structured, and user-friendly format.
• New condition: “Is seller logged in”: Added a new condition that allows features or components to behave differently when a seller is logged in.

Bug fixes

We’ve made several backend improvements including better locale handling in ElasticSearch, support for line breaks in CSV imports, default language settings, improved search indexing, and an increased size limit for sys_tag.

New Features

• Grid view with higher-quality images: The product display grid now shows sharper, better-looking product images for a more polished and pleasant browsing experience.
• Phrase prefix clause in query template: Added support for phrase prefix matching in query_template.json, improving the search experience by returning more relevant suggestions as users type.
• New “Items List Builder” box: For the first time, users can now add products directly to their basket via Elastica with this new box. It’s a smooth and efficient way to build shopping lists and send them straight to checkout.
• New “Basket Preview” box: A brand-new box that gives users a quick, clear view of their current basket contents. It’s designed to make reviewing and adjusting the basket easier than ever.

Bug fixes

We’ve resolved issues with Elastic Search default values, addressed bugs from the Condition Engine refactor, and fixed a problem in Skin Settings Variants to ensure proper configuration.

• Condition Engine Refactoring (Testing) - The condition engine has been fully refactored to improve performance, maintainability, and extensibility. This provides a more robust foundation for future enhancements and ensures a smoother experience when configuring complex conditions for dynamic store customizations.
• Warning for Known Users - Added a new warning system for recognized users, improving communication and user awareness in specific scenarios.
• New Icons for Boxes - Updated icons for various UI elements within “The One,” aligning them with the latest admin panel updates for a more modern and cohesive look.
• Recently Purchased Box Update - Users can now customize the number of days for the “Recently Purchased” box, offering more flexibility in displaying recent purchases

Bug fixes

We removed all old skins from the selection list, updated the graphic design of the admin interface for a more polished look, and made several small performance improvements to enhance the overall user experience.

This month, we’ve focused on enhancing search capabilities, improving product listings, and optimizing performance for larger catalogs. Additionally, we’ve fine-tuned filtering and supplier price display to ensure more accurate data representation.

• Supplier & Additional Code in Search – Added support for supplier and additional codes in Elasticsearch, making it easier to find specific products.

• Optimized Product Listings & Sitemap Processing – Enhanced performance for large product catalogs, speeding up navigation and indexing.

Bug fixes

Fixed caching issues, improved security handling, refined UI elements, and cleaned up code for better stability.

Features:

A new configuration option has been introduced that allows stores to account for supplier prices when users are filtering items by price. We introduced two new spec variables, Date Time and Time of Day, to enhance flexibility and data handling.

Optimizations and Improvements

We've improved the admin UI for a cleaner interface, enhanced the login flow and store creation process, and fixed bugs in Elastic-Search, Facebook tracking, and TheOne template.

New Features

Enhanced Search Functionality: We've deployed a new Elastic search engine that allows for more precise searching using specific identifiers like EAN, SKU, and User Code. This upgrade provides greater accuracy and efficiency when locating items.

Optimizations and Improvements:

Addressed various issues affecting variant display, ensuring accurate information is shown, fixed bugs impacting the presentation and functionality of post list items, and corrected errors associated with filter tags for improved filtering accuracy.

We’ve added some great new features that our valued customers have been asking for. They may seem simple, but they eliminate a lot of manual work and keep your pages looking fresh every day!

• Automatic Display of New Items: Newly added products are showcased automatically in the store.
• Automatic Display of Recently Purchased Items: Recently bought items are highlighted for easy browsing.
• Automatic Display of Items by Category: Products from a specified category or node are featured automatically.

Use Multi Promo Box to configure the automatic displays mentioned above.

Some other new feature and enhancements:

• Scrollable Submenu: we added a new scrollable_submenu sys-tag. When applied to a menu element, this enables vertical scrolling for menus with content that exceeds the window height.
• Subpages Links Box: Introduced a new shadow option, allowing customization for a more distinct appearance.
• Background Box: Added a new option for the entire element to open a popup upon clicking, enhancing interactive functionality.
• Post List Box: Updated the feature to allow custom color settings for numbers in post lists, giving more design flexibility.

Optimizations and Improvements

Improved page performance and SEO by removing reloads after GDPR consents. We also refactored Stock & Availability display for consistent settings across lists and product pages for the One Template.

Additionally, we made refinements to the Tabs, Accordion, and Full-screen Mobile Menu components, as well as optimizations in the Configurator box.

1. Account Locking: Added the ability to lock user accounts, providing admins with more control over user access.
2. Re-send Confirmation Email: Introduced an option to resend confirmation emails for users who haven’t verified their accounts.
3. Stickers for Promo Items and List View: Users can now add stickers to promotional items and list views, enhancing product visibility and customization.
4. Label Customization for Product Codes: Added a new option in the Skin settings to customize product code labels.
5. Custom Login Page for New Accounts: Users creating accounts can now be redirected to a custom login page, offering more flexibility in account management.
6. Fluid Fonts: Fonts are now responsive and fluid, ensuring a better user experience across various screen sizes.
7. Full-Screen Mobile Menu: A new version of the mobile menu has been introduced, now featuring a full-screen layout for improved navigation on mobile devices.

AI For Products Descriptions & SEO   [TAG_DEPLOYED]

The latest AI upgrade allows our users to leverage Chat GPT AI to effortlessly create descriptions, meta descriptions, alt tags, and more using predefined keywords while adhering to Google's SEO standards.

New Features

1. Batch Functionality for Changing Tax Class on Items: We’ve introduced a new batch functionality that allows you to change the tax class on multiple items at once. 
2. Address for Pickup on Orders with Parcel Shipping: For orders that are shipped to a parcel shop, the store admin will now see three addresses in the order details: the delivery address, billing address, and the newly added shipping address. This addition of the “Address for Pickup” in the administration panel ensures that all relevant shipping information is easily accessible, improving order management and reducing the potential for errors.

This update includes fixes for order filtering by user type, item export stability, variant creation in the admin panel, PayPal integration, and promotion popups.

• Back-in-Stock Notification Expansion: We've significantly expanded the Back in Stock notification feature to support all different website settings and configurations. This enhancement ensures that users can now receive notifications seamlessly, regardless of their online store's specific setup or customization. This update aims to improve user experience by providing timely and accurate stock availability alerts across a wider range of e-commerce platforms.

We addressed several Elastic Search bugs to improve search functionality and reliability and made some smaller improvements in our administration panel.

New Features

Slovenian Lemmatization and Mobile Special Characters in Elastic Search:

• We’ve enhanced our Elastic Search functionality with support for Slovenian lemmatization. This means the search engine can now recognize different forms of Slovenian words and match them correctly, improving the accuracy of search results.
• Additionally, we’ve added a feature to handle mobile special characters. Users can now search for terms like "čebela" or "voziček" even if they type "cebela" or "vozicek" without special characters. This makes search more intuitive, especially for mobile users who might find it cumbersome to type special characters.

AI for Product Descriptions & SEO:

• We've introduced an AI-powered tool that helps users generate product descriptions, meta descriptions, alt tags, and more using Chat GPT AI. This tool allows you to input predefined keywords, ensuring all content adheres to Google’s SEO standards.
• Note: This feature is still under development. While it is visible in the administration panel, it is not yet fully functional.
